Antiques and opera have enriched the life of Phyllis Brusey and here she has recaptured some of the atmosphere of wonderful years as an antique dealer and of the exciting successes of the NZ Opera Company, with which she was closely associated. A close family link with early missionary days in New Zealand has enabled Mrs Brusey also to include in her book some absorbing incidents of those times, as recorded in her grandfather's diaries and letters.
